Need help wiring secondary o2 sensor to ecu
Hello Honda-Tech members and non-members,
I have 99 Honda Civic LX 1.5L auto transmission SOHC non vtec 4dr sedan.
I currently swap it with 99 Honda Civic EX 1.5L auto transmission and SOHC vtec D16y8 motor from 4dr sedan still connected together as 1 unit.
When I did the swap, I thought it was plug and play but my cabin does not have secondary o2 sensor wires or harness below the stereo.
I need help wiring the four wires from secondary o2 sensor directly to ecu to eliminate CEL. ECU is throwing code 65 which is o2 sensor not present/working. Any help will be appreciated.

Just buy an extension harness. I believe @HondaPartsHero still sells them, or they're literally all over the internet.

Re: Need help wiring secondary o2 sensor to ecu
If he used the EX harness he'll have to wire it in directly

Thanks for the information about the harness conversion. Still the question remains that the secondary O2 sensor is not connected to the ECU which still light up the CEL.
Yes HondaPartsPro is correct. I still have to connect directly to the ecu or wires that is particular to eliminate the CEL.
Thanks for the responces to my question. At this point, any new ideas or existing ones will help.
