Need help with suspension part....
I'm missing the piece of rubber that goes there... I know I can get it from honda, but does anyone know if Energy Suspension makes a replacement for it???

Re: Need help with suspension part.... (EVIL Hx Coupe)
Looks like something went horribly wrong there. O_o
FWIW, Koni doesn't advise the use of urethane bushings for the top hats (even voids the warranty of their shocks) because they don't reduce vibration enough and it travels through the shock rod and ***** **** up, IIRC.

I was just wondering if would improve anything... I't only 7 something at honda for the top one, bottom one and the little rod that goes in the middle....

Hmm, sounds like ya put the damper together incorrectly.
How did you assemble it?
You want to put the following on the strut rod in order:
- bump stop (cut in half)
- rod washer (that goes to the thin part of the stem)
- then there should be some rubber bushing, or metal piece with a rubber gasket type (depends on the suspension, I am not sure what yours came with). Honda has a thick rubber bushing that goes inside the hat part of the damper.
- rubber bushing (like you are describing in the picture), only that goes UNDERNEATH the damper hat
- then that bushing you are missing in the picture
- washer on top of that bushing
- damper nut that compresses the bushings.
make sure ya put it together in the right order, otherwise it could cause some serious damage when rolling around.

The part you quoted that I was referring to is part number 9 on that diagram.

So without this my suspension wont sit correctly right?

Without this, the spring will sit right on the damper hat base (part #7) and could damage.
I would definitely not run with out it.

You can run the stock HX ones if you still have them (and provided they are in decent condition), otherwise, I would probably contact some suspension companies and ask them if they have any upper spring bushings that go under neath the damper base hat.
I am pretty sure many of them carry them. And most of them will work.

Re: (SlippylesKB)
If you need the rubber piece that goes between the spring and the shock top hat, I have 2 extra rubber ones from Ground-Control, they have about 2 miles on them and fit perfectly under the stock O.E. shock top hats.
I also have extra Ground-Control metal tube things that go inside the the 2 rubber bushings inside the top hat that slides over the shock piston ride.
And i also have NEW Honda O.E. rubber bushings that go in the top hat. One above in the top hat, and one below, I have 4 total (for the fronts). They have about 2 miles on them.
I also have the washers that goes ontop of those bushings too, that slides on to the shock piston rod ontop of the shock top hat assembly.
If you need any of these parts, just PM me.
