tonight me and a few of my buddies decided to head to the track..perfect day/night for racing dry and the temp was around higher 40's..
I have a 00 Si with just a AEM short ram intake and heres what i ran

R/T 1.22
60' 2.35
330' 6.50
1/8 9.93
MPH 71.65
1000'12.89
1/4 15.38
MPH 90.64 (best mph tonigh was 91 )

my friend with a 00 cx hatch GSR motor short ram and cat back exhaust ran
15.01 @ 93 i believe
my other friend with a 99 Si CAI and cat back exhaust ran
15.7 @ 89

all in all i was happy with my time and had a fun night so i thought id share with ya

Does your friend with the 99 Si not have your skills? Have you tried his car to see if you have a stronger motor? Thats crazy that your car with only intake beats his with intake and exhaust by .5 .. awesome times for the mods though

thanks man..well it was most likely the last time im gonna race the car before its gone so i said WTF and yea i know launching is very tricky

thanks he was running on some shitty street tires so yea..hes got the trap speed down (94 was his best) so its just the whole launching part

i was gonna drive his but never got a chance to, maybe next time..i heard something about the Si's having a different FD which im really curious about now after seeing the time differences..i heard some had 4.4 and some had 4.2 and that can be a huge difference..thanks for the compliments guys

while you and your friends are "new", the times are respectable.

Some practice on the launch and minor tuning will yield BIG results.

wow! good time with the si. I can't believe you can get a 15.3 with just a short ram intake. I know this guy with a cai/h/e/hi-flow cat/stage 2 clutch...and he ran a 16.3 ....i'm sure a lot of it was the driving though coonsidering he should run way better times stock.

High 40's? That seems to be good weather to run in but it also seems like it woud just kill your 60" times, because I couldn't imagine that the track would hook very well at that temperature.

I'd expect a 00 Cx to run mid-high 14's.

My old 1992 Si ran 14.7 and weighed more than the 96-00 CX hatches.

yeah had a buddy of mine that had a 93 DX hatch with a B18c1 with I/H/E and he ran a 14.1@99mph.... I know the 93 is lighter but damn 15 flat.... just needs more practice.... I like I do... my best 60ft. is a 2.454.... sooo
