Default Need HELP PLEEEEEEEASE. BIG problem

Okay so for the last little while anytime I accelerate at a good speed my car starts to viabrate. I have that knocking sound when I turn the wheel(CV joint). Also when I launch the car is wants to pull to the right side. I have a semi built B16A with a 2000 USDM Type R tranny with OEM LSD.

Now here's my problem

Tonight I'm driving and I stop at a red light. Light goes green and I accelerate and I hear a noise and my car isn't going anywhere.

I pull over to the side of the road put it in all different gears reverse included and step on the gas and my car isn't moving.

I know there is no real way to tell without checking but I'm wondering if you guys think I snapped my driveshaft or if it's my tranny.

TIA guys I REALLY appreciate any insight.

first of all, you dont have a driveshaft. Both of your axles could have broke, or came out of the tranny, or your differential could be fucked. Have you taken a look at the differential/axles yet?

No I haven't had a chance this just happened and it's 1:00am here in Toronto.

What would I look for if it was the axles?? I don't have a driveshaft?? Then what do I have a half shaft??

Does it matter that the car still goes into all gears smoothly and that there is no noises??

The only reason I thought it might be axle related is because of the symptoms of the car leading up to this happening(vibrating, pulling right on launch, knocking when turning the wheel)

SO your saying my LSD might have taken a crap on me??

check the half shaft on the driver's side, the 3 bolts might've come undone causing the axle to pop out of the tranny. I had the same problem on my Del Sol with a B16A3 while racing an RSX Type S... Really embarassing... I think the previous owner of my ride didn't torque'em down.

It's not hard to tell if you have an axle problem, just look under the car with a flashlight. You should be able to tell from the driver's side of the tranny if- your axle is still connected to your intermediate shaft, if its broken, if the intermediate shaft is still all the way into the tranny. On the driver's side see if the axle is still all of the way into the tranny, or if its broken.

Thank everyone for ALL your help. I put the car up this morning on the jack and checked the axle and it was snapped I pulled it down. Thank god it was only the axle. I also checked and when I start the car and put it in gear and rev the speedo still goes up so the differential is fine.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED ESPECIALLY BAULEYCIVIC for answering all my questions in the IM's!!!
