Need help, obd1 engine inside obd2 civic hatchback
Hi peoples, I'm new to this, I need help on what I should do. I got a b16a head with a gsr block n it's a obd1 n my civic is a obd2 so I need help. What should I do? Is it possibly to just get a ex harness n plug n play?

oh boy. Learn to use google, there are at least 50 threads on Honda-tech about this.
Yes, getting an EX harness will make it plug and play, you may need to extend a couple wires tho
Option 1 - Run OBD1
you will need - OBD1 dizzy and ECU
OBD1 ECU to OBD2a (96-98 civic) or OBD2b (99-00 civic) ECU jumper
OBD1dizzy to OBD2a or b chassis Jumper
Option 2 - Run OBD2
You will have to either 1-change oil pump to OBD2 for crank sensor, or 2- do the bypass trick
Have and OBD2 ECU and Dizzy
