OBD2 convert to OBD1
Searched here and no luck. I just saw one somewhere and now I can't find it.
I'm looking to see who makes a harness to make a motor go from OBD2 to OBD1. Also, where could I find one? All the motors I've found so far are high mileage. So I may get a newer motor w/ OBD2 to put in my EG that's OBD1.
Sorry for the stupid question, but it's fustrating me, cause I know I just saw one somewhere online. Thanks.

Re: OBD2 convert to OBD1 (buster13)
buster13,
I can make OBD2 to OBD1 harnesses. I have sold quite a few to H-Tech members.
But, I think you are looking for an OBD1 to OBD2 harness to run an OBD2 ECU in your OBD1 EG. Is this assumption correct?
Let me know so I can help you out. If the above assumption is correct you don't need one of my harnesses. A better solution would be to get an OBD1 GS-R ECU and just plug it in. But, if you must use the OBD2 ECU I can make you the OBD1 to OBD2 harness you need.
Either way I would be happy to help you out.

Give me the year/model engine and year/model car and I will tell you how to make it work.

Swap in. Plug harness in (yes, OBD-II harness).
Get "kenji" spec p28 ECU and plug in.
No ****. IM B18C5-EH2, this is how his ITR motor has worked in a 92-95 Civic.

Kenji spec p28? Uhmmm... huh?
Simple solution, really, but you lose the knock sensor, and if you have a GSR, secondary runner control.

Re: OBD2 convert to OBD1 (shawnhayes)
The only problem is the 00 SI harness goes straight to the computer unlike the GSR which unhooks @ the firewall. B18C5-EH2 did an OBD II ITR swap which had the correct harness. He will have to do a harness on that '00 SI swap because of the above.....

Well, Buster13, looks like I misinformed you. Ya gots several options the way I see it:
1. My solution above (hacked p28 OBD-I ECU) with Integra harness that hooks directly to firewall connectors.
2. Convert engine to OBD-I and use OBD-I harness
3. Convert car to OBD-II ECU (I don't even know if this is possible, frankly, but I suspect that it is)

Re: OBD2 convert to OBD1 (Dokta)
If you want to stay obd I on this swap all you need to do is to change the distributor, fuel injectors, and the down pipe out of a 94-95 LS. It should be a direct swap and that stuff is really plentiful. Also you can swap the harness over to a 95 ls. If I were you I would use the OBD II harness (assuming the CRV is like an integra and the harness unplugs @ the firewall. I just can't remember right now) and use an ECU adapter cable. Kenji makes those. I think that I may have cut a few for him through the years.....
