Default Need help with chugging idle

Have a 2000 civic ex, 143k. For the past year or so, the idle has been pretty rough. You can her almost like a thumping noise coming from the exhaust. When I let off the brake to pull forward the car seems to chug or bounce until I get on the gas. I don't have any other problems during Ig normal driving. It also seems like it gets worse when the weather is warmer. Car had plugs, wires and a cap put on about 20k ago. IACV seems ok, it's the rotary type cuz my car is auto. Took it apart and cleaned it along with the throttle body. Compression numbers are around 105-110 across all cylinders. Any help would be appreciated.

143K - it may be time to replace the distributor, which has a lifespan of about 150K miles.

You also need to do another ignition system tune up (OEM plugs, wires, cap, rotor).

Is the ignition timing set to spec?

Has the fuel filter been replaced?

Are you getting poor gas mileage?

I'll have to check the timing, the timing belt was replaced at 105k per the service schedule.

Fuel filter was changed about 2 weeks ago, no difference there.

Gas mileage is normal, about 24 around town and between 33-38 on long highway trips.
