Default My window keeps falling off its track

Hello, I have a 99 Civic with automatic windows. For some reason the past few nights the window keeps falling off its track, and I have to take off the door panel, speakers, etc and fit it back on. This is getting unbelievably annoying and I am afraid that it will happen somewhere other than at home since my car will basically be left wide open. Does anyone have any suggestions to keep it from coming off? It seems to happen the more wet it is outside

check the seals around the window that guide the window up and down.. maybe one is creased causing it to come off track every time you use it also next time its off track and you fix it i would use it while the door panels and speakers are off just to see where and why its coming off track

other than that i would say avoid using that window when going somewhere that tools wont be readily available

GL on finding the problem bro

the Honda windows are bad... I've had many problems with mine but Lasky's right, once it falls off one it can screw up all those rubber moldings... I ended up having to replace both window regulators and now they work well... they were about $80 apiece (I have manual windows though) from my honda dealer and pretty easy to do, you have to remove the glass and stuff though. Good luck!

Just pull the tracks off, spray them down with some silicone spray.
and when you bolt them back in push them towards each other so there is a tighter clearance.
happened to me once, hasn't happened since I cleaned/lubed.

If it consistently keeps slipping off the track then the regulator is probably bent. So you will need a new regulator.
