My Timing Doesn't Register
We been having trouble with my timing lately. I am trying to get my timing squared away before I boost.
We installed a d16y8 block with my d16z6 head
New Timing Belt
New Skunk2 Cam Gear
Lined everything up at TDC
and now my car idles like **** . . . . . we have the timing set at 0 degrees on the timing gun and the marks are still way off . . . we even tried advancing the dist. as far as it will go and they are still off. Retarding the dist. makes my idle even lower around 500rpms . . . . I am not sure what all is wrong. We took the timing belt off today and re-did it like 5 times and still the same ****.
If it's off a tooth how exactly do we go about fixing it. Someone please help! I want to get boosted tonight.
Thanks in Advance.
