Default Timing off, what could that cause?

Im know my timing will be off because i removed my head, so had to take off the dizzy, cams..etc and replaced the timing belt, water pump and tensioner and forgot to mark the dizzy when I took it off. Would it hurt if the timing is off? Like the belt jumping or anything?

To set the timing it says to have the car fully warmed up first?

put the distributor about centered from back to front and it'll be ok until you actually time it. the timing belt doesn't jump if ignition timing is off. yes the car should be at normal operating temp. there's prolly a thread somewhere in h-t that shows the procedure for setting timing.
