Default My new Intake Manifold for my D15B. (pics/Tech)

got it used of a friend. supposedly built by TopSpeed/Konig or alike.
http://www.konigwheels.com/cat...id=74
constructed of thin cast aluminum pieces, excellent welds, extremely light piece, overall fit and finish was good, few coolant line needed extensions but overall nothing that 1.5hr didn't solve. every runner is equipped with an air horn within an intake which is kind of cool.

Drive test:
-nothing special haven't noticed any butt dyno improvements. sounds wise its a little louder and vtec seems to be more audioable.

So...not worth it, performance wise?

Thats the same manifold i have... well looks like it anyway. VTEC is alot more noticieble and top end acceleration is noticibly better.

is that a painted black OBX-R intakemanifold

If it has decent gains for your setup you should be able to feel is, I think it may help if you upgraded the TB when you installed it.

How but was the port for the TB? 56mm (like stock) or was it 60-70mm or so.....

not sure, if its OBX or not. Currently running stock TB. I got to look around for my ITR one...

anyways, its been few hours and definite gains, even at low end/mid range where its simply much torquier...

overall it gets /5 for fit/finish and butt dyno.

maybe you should get an intake to go with it

i doubt the stock down pipe is good for flow
