so awhile back my egs dash/tail lights/cig lighter light/trans range lights stopped working; i found the short and a fixed it.


it has worked fine for the past 2 months or so.

recently, my speedo is acting crazy(me thinks something with vss or alternator,obviously) and my car is sluggish on acceleration and feels like its about to stall.

and 2 days after my speedo acted up( happens everyday now but levels itself out)
and now my previous short issue popped back up and its blowing fuses. i tried to track down the short with a compass(nice little trick) and visually and came up with nothing.

anyone wanna take a shot at this?

mine was doing the same thing check ur eld fuse (electronic load detector) it made my speedo and ake act goofy then i would turn my car on and it would run for about 10-15 seconds then fall on its face and the eld fuse is wat it was try that and also ur alternator and get back wit me

i checked all the fuses and they're all good except the one that keeps blowing from the short(the 15a fuse for the dash lights, and everything else that failed)

i'm about to check the alternator output voltages when the rain stops here in wi.
