I have an ej1. I plan on running 2.5" piping (kteller). I also wanted to use the hks hyper. It has a 60mm inlet which is 2.36". Would that cause a problem with exhaust flow? Do you think I should run 2.25" piping instead?

go 2.25 unless your running a lot of power then get the 2.5 i guess

i have a dc sports catback and its 2.25 and its awesome and sounds great

okay...well the reason i wanted to run 2.5 was because i am throwin on a small turbo..and full 3" is not an option

keep it at least 2.5 if youre gonna turbo your car, but as far as your exhaust system, id look into another muffler

why should i look into another muffler..its a straight through design..what mufflers do you guys suggest a bigger one or what..thanks

sorry im not thinking..are u guys saying 2.5 in exhaust but find a muffler bigger than 60mm?

Yes. If you're gonna go with 2.5" exhuast piping, get a muffler that's at least 2.5" as well.

if you want that "jdm" n1 endurance style muffler look into the apexi n1 universal muffler that has a 80mm inlet
