my car runs hot
Well I did a mini me swap on my 95 dx about 6 months ago and it lasted two weeks and blew a head gasket. I replaced it and it has been running fine sence then, but it it runs hotter than normal. It runs hotter than all my friends civics. I took out the thermostat to see if that was what is wrong with it and it ran the same temp??? it didn't even take a long time to warm up, just like normal. Do you think my head gasket could be leaking again?

Your car is NOT overheating, I take it?
Did you check to see if the thermostat opens/closes when you had it out, if so, did it work? Also, what's the condition of your radiator, if old, HOW old (and is it damaged?)? Plus, how is the oil level in the engine? What about coolant? (When was oil/coolant last changed?)
Heating can be a few things, but it seems to me if I think now, your thermostat may be working, just not properly (opening/closing, but at wrong times). Try to pick up a new one from the dealer, ain't too expensive, and easy to replace.
Seriously though, TOO much can cause an engine to run warmer than normal, so try to explain a little more about your situation.

The fans should be kicking in since he told it doesn't over heat when it sits in trafic. He also told that he removed the thermostat, he had put the head gasket twice. mmmmmmmmm u did a mini swap!!!!!! you have to wait and pass a couple of milles for some things to seat down, did you give it a break in?????? if not, cheak your block.
ps. What do you did to your car?? (mini swap)
