My 92 CX hatch does not have a MAP sensor. Its missing, it was never there...

Weirdest thing...

I recently aquired a 92 Civic CX hatch. It runs fine and doesnt throw any codes. Ive never been able to find a MAP sensor on it though. Its not on the TB nor on the firewall. Also I cant find a plug in the wiring harness for it either (compared this harness to my older EX harness).

I just did a motor swap last weekend so ive looked in the engine bay and inspected the wiring harness. I still cant find one.

Um...is this normal?

its there somewhere. car wouldnt run right without it

my guess is its onthe firewall next to your fuel filter.. it really doesnt look like a map sensor but it is

yea it's there..i bought a car that ran like **** and found the harness for the map by my corner light! the car run just not right.if you look on the throttle body it will have a small vaccum line the comeout next to the bigger one if it does follow that vaccum line and it should lead you to your map
