Default Adding a Map sensor

I just put an engine harness and it is not the correct one for the car. There is no map sensor (so map sensor wiring should be in chassis harness and map should be on firewall) but the car it was installed into does not have a spot for the map sensor on the fire way (designed for it to be on engine harness/TB)

has anyone installed a map sensor to the engine harness or to the chassis harness. I can not find anything and tried to search. PLEASE HELP!

If you look at ff-squad.com on their technet you can find a picture of a throttlebody map sensor. If your car originally came with the engine harness map wiring you should see a 16 wire plug on your shock tower. On this plug you will have a grn, wht, yel w/red stripe going on the chassis side but not on your engine harness side hard wire those up to the map sensor and do a vacuum hose down to the throttlebody. If I remember correctly it is one wire on the top row on the 16 prong and two on the second row. If your car had vtec orig you may see a couple more their also, just try to look for those colors. The colors I referenced were from an eg civic, should be similar on a del sol. OR you can tap closer to the ecu, on obd1 it is the top far right three that go to the map sensor colors should be self explanitory if you reference your old harness. Hope that helps.
