yeah its not really the noise i am concerned about basically i am just doing a complete overhaul, my 2 1/4" OBX is fucked...i want to get some type of true high-flow cat, 3" pipes and some type of nice underbody muffler that wont be visible

You could get by with a 2.5" mandrel bent system, I don't think a 3" exahust is ncessary unless you have a really big turbo build. Plus, a 2.5" system is less expensive on the exhaust tubing, flanges, gaskets, and its also going to be quieter than a 3" its also easier to fit under the car with all the bends etc.

For a 2.5" system, I'd reccomend the following:
Carsound/Magnaflow Cat: 2.5" 16" length # 93506 ($75-$100)
Magnaflow resonator: 22" length 4" round 2.5" in/out #10436 ($54-$65)
For louder muffler (straight through): Magnaflow ctr-in/ctr-out 2.5" 5x8 oval, 14" length #12216 ($55-$70), 18" length #12246 ($64-$75)
For a quieter muffler: Dynomax Super Turbo 4x9 2.5" offctr-in/offctr-out, 14" length sport #17734 ($40 at http://www.summitracing.com), 20" length street (its a mellower sound) #17749 ($48 at summit)

sounds like you know your stuff...i do have a "really big turbo set-up", so even though its not as easy i think i need the extra flow that i will get outa the 3"...so you think that would be my best bet on high-flow cats?

I'd say thats a very good choice. With the turbo you'll be looking for a 3" system to insure proper flow. Alot of these universal mufflers on Ebay are a bit larger than 2", thus negating what you're trying to achieve. I think "dood" reccomended a great path to take, and most likely a bit cheaper than a name brand full catback system, and it WILL perform just as well.

Also a good choice. In the 5 years or so I've been involved with cars (relatively short time, I know.), I've heard NOTHING but praises about the Thermal exhaust. Those guys over @ Team-Integra are fans of this system as well.

Good luck with whichever choice you make man, and enjoy being boosted!
