Default 3" Muffler question

I am getting my turbo setup installed on my 89 CRX soon and want to have a 3" exhaust. Will a standard Dynomax quiet it down enough? Will it sound ok with the dynomax? I want to get something local and its pretty much the only 3" straight through I can find. Thanks.

3 inch exhaust on a turbo car shouldn't really be that loud.

I think if your running a streight through muffler and its too loud for ya add a 16-18" resinator and it will quiet it down a bit.. Worked great on my old turbo gsr, it was deep.

So what p/n do i get from Summit? This sounds like a good plan: 2 resonators-no mufflers, right?

I have 2.5" dp flare to 3". I have a high flow cat. and Thermal muffler. I also use 2 resonators. One is 18" and one is 12". My exhaust system is still very loud. Remenber I had install a lot of exhaust systems in different cars before. I know what a loud exhaust system is. May be, I should put back the factory exhaust and put an E-Cut out.

I have a 3" straight through Apex'i WS2 with a 26" resonator, 3" kteller piping and a carsound cat. And it's not that loud, it's extremely deep sounding.

Are you running a cat kabaroo?
