MOTOR SWAP GSR into 96 civic
ok the swap is a GSR into a 96 civic EX. everything was good we used the civic ex harness and just rewired some sensors to the ecu (no check engine light). the only problem that me and my friends incountered was that we think that we used the wrong L-bracket for the rear mount. the motor is getting pushed foward and it already ripped the driver side mount. these are the mounts/brackets we used: civic stock trans mount and bracket, stock rear mount with the GSR bracket, civic stock driver mount and bracket we also put a 99-00 civic dual post bracket form a B16 (the one that goes on the motor) cuz we read that you have to do that. i just wanted to see if anybody has any info on what mounts/brackets to use because nobody should be rolling around with ripped up mounts. thanks.

I have hasport mounts and I used 99-00 civic si rear bracket not GSR and si mounts for the driver side that's connected to the motor. I have the same swap in my civic.

you need the 99-00 civic si rear bracket mount for all beseries swaps in 96-00 ;D and if i were you i would change the stock driverside mount in for a decent aftermarket one. those stock ones are queers.
