Motor mounts for 1999 Civic DX. Few Q's
My car has 213k miles on it (all freeway). I just changed all the belts & water pump. It looks like my side motor mounts need to be replaced as well. They look fairly easy to replace.
Are aftermarket mounts recommended?
Polyurethane mounts any good or is rubber better?
Are all 1996-2000 mounts the same for all trims/automatic or manual?
Please recommend a good place to order?

I believe that only the tranny mount is different between auto and manual.
and I'd just go with oem from the dealer. they're about 60-80 bucks each. and won't be saving much on aftermarket oem ones.
if its your daily. I wouldn't go with polyurethane. unless you want stiff shifting and lots of vibration. you'll feel the engine more.

If you are referring to the bottom motor mounts, those are called torque mounts. I would recommend getting them from RockAuto.com (less than $10). They should be the same as far as manual / auto. I recently had to replace my driver's side motor mount, too, but ended up getting that from NAPA for like $45. Let me know if you have any questions!
