To answer your question...As some of the people already said, the swap you choose should be based on what your goals are for the car and how much money you're willing to spend. IMO (considering you asked for it) I would only get the b18b (ls) if I were planning to turbo the car. Other wise i would choose the b16a for a nice n/a set up. Your best bet is to do a search, you will learn a ton, then decide on which route fits your budget the best.

in a eg6, in the 1/4, the stock ls will jump on the stock b16a2 and should have a big enough lead for the b16 not to catch 'em before the quarter.
