Most gas blends linearly; half 87 half 89 gives 88, etc.
Why are you doing so? There's absolutely no need to run anything more than 87 octane in a stock SOHC motor.

I recall reading somewhere that most gas stations only keep two grades: 87 and 92. They mix the two when you buy 89.
