Default Changing gas?

Is there anything i should do before i change from 87 octane to 89?

no..if you have a d-seires i wouldn't advise using anything higher than 87. unless you have a fire breathing DOHC.

a mini me will require a higher octane
if thats what hes doing

You should probably tear down the entire motor, drop the tank, and completely clean everything of every last bit of fuel, otherwise the two octanes will mix and cause a fiery explosion that will destroy y0 Vt3CuLar capabilites.

Yeah the price of gas has made me drop down from 91 to 87 , & i'm running a Mini-Me . Damn High Compression , well i've been running on 87 for 2-3 weeks so far with no signs of detonation so I guess i'll just continue to use 87
