mix yellow/orange antifreeze with green stuff?
Hi Guys,
I have a 95 Civic hatchback, today I noticed the antifreeze is a little bit low, so I went and bought a bottle of ZEREX G-05 antifreeze coolant. The bottle says compatible with Honda 95 and older, it is made by Valvoline.
I did not know it is yellow light orange color until I am about to fill up at home, the coolant in my civic is green in color, you know, the normal stuff. The coolant I bought is yellow, peach or pearl color, light golden, and it is NOT purple/pink like the new VW coolant.
the question is: can I mix this yellow coolant with my existing green coolant, or I need to flush the existing coolant before adding the yellow coolant?
thanks a lot!
