Default Misfiring Problem?

After I installed my N1 catback, I noticed a sort of "popping" noise coming from the exhaust at idle, also I believe that it has a slight misfire at idle.

is it backfireing???? Well if ou adv. the timing you might want to play with that. So is it studdering, kinda? When was the last time you had your valve timing done and or timing belt replaced?

yeah I suppose its a small back fire, and the valves are on the To-Do list, and timing belt was done at 86,000 (36,000 ago)

if its just studdering, it will be cool till you get your valves done. Mostlikely this has been going on for a wile, but with the exhaust you just hear it.

so its not backfiring like a gun shot is it?
