misfire issue
I have a 95 civic with a f22. Motor ran great up untill a few days ago. Its like its getting NO fire on cylinder 1. I have done a compression check and its good. Replaced plugs, wires, cap, module and coil (and seal, had oil inside the dizzy). Changed the fuel injector, measure the voltage to the injector clip. Still its like it has no fire on #1, you can pull the plug wire out while its running and NOTHING changes idle does not drop down, get any worse. But 2-3-4 all change when you pull the plug wire. Im LOST any ideas?

Re: misfire issue
Check the dizzy for a carbon track near cyl #1 firing position. Since you had oil I am hoping you cleaned the crap out of it. If not try another dizzy.

Check the spark plug wires are ok and if they are correctly placed.
If 2/3/4 are sparking correctly then it has to be the wire, or the plug, or the distributor cap.

Re: misfire issue
I do get a spark, i have swapped the wires to another cylinder and it works and tested each one. I have swapped injectors and the clips to known good cylinders. EVERYTHING works, but its still misfiring on cylinder 4. It acts like its not firing at all.

Re: misfire issue
First it was cylinder 1 and now it's cylinder 4? Or, did you mistype and it's actually still misfiring on cylinder 1?
I would perform a compression test or a leak down test on cylinder 1. If it has fuel and spark I would inspect for a mechanical problem.

Sorry, i ment cylinder 1. Typo. Well i went out and pulled a few more plugs off. The idle DOES change if you unplug 2 plug wires 1 and (2-4) and then plug 1 back in it does change. leads me to bealive the problem is ELSE where. Would not running the EGR cause a misfire or rough idle?

Re: misfire issue
Its fixed, im not running the EGR obviously. But the vaccum hose was ran to the egr. Which was trying to make it do whatever it does. Removed the vaccum hose and capped it off from the intake manifold. Problem solved. Thanks for the help though!
