Misfire at 5000 rpm

Misfire at 5000 rpm
So I have a 93 eg hatch with a B18A1 swapped into it and a couple weeks ago I started leaking oil and my antifreeze was bubbling so I decided my head gasket was going bad, so I ran head gasket sealant through it and since my antifreeze stopped bubbling and my oil stopped leaking, however I also sprayed the engine down with water trying to find the oil leak, now it misfires at 5000 rpm really bad but only when the throttle is less than half open, wide open it runs fine. I just replaced the plugs and wires and just cleaned my IACV, I don't know where else to look, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thx in advance

btw it only takes about 4 hours to do a headgasket anyway. why put it off and have to spend another $800 on a motor?

replace the headgasket before you kill the motor. the headgasket sealent is no good, and will end up plugging your radiator. do it right the first time.

time to remove the head at least.
First do a compression check or better still a leakdown test.
Sounds like it's serious but just could be bad ignition or wires.
Check inside the distributor for water
You did say you hosed it, sounds like it's well and truly hosed to me if it's not the wires or water in the dist.
