Just for the O2 sensors and the IAT sensor but nothing that would keep my car from going over 5000 rpm it will just keep v-tec from cracking ( I think) when I plug in my y7 ecu it goes over 5000 (run rough like a truck) I've tried two other ecu that I know work and the samething

A y7 dizzy. I thought the same thing but if you use the y7 harness you can't use the y8 dizzy and after doing some research the only thing the the housing and the plugs are the harness

strange... try taking the blue plastic inner out of your y7 harness plug with needle nose and try it. it might not be seated correctly and not allowing it to clip in.

I checked the intake manifold and it has a huge leek I'm going to replace the gasket tomorrow and see if that helps any when I change the gasket I will clean out the fuel rail and the injectors. I went to the honda dealership and priced a new never used y8 harness and guess how much $130 but a v-tec dizzy was like $389 wow......

if your running a p2p ecu are you running a knock sensor? if not it could cause this as well.

I thought the samething one wire was out the plug for the knock sensor but I replaced it and the code for it went away but still can't go past 4900 rpm just when I put the y7 computer in
