Hey guys. I've used HT to research builds before but this Is my first time posting. If this thread is in the wrong place I apologize and maybe a mod can move it for me. Well here is my question. I have a 96 civic HX 5speed, I recently pulled the Y5 and put in a Y7 from a 99 DX. I want to put my Y8 head on. I have the Y8 head, Y5 harness, Y5 intake mani, and Y8 ecu. Will this all work? I'm told it will work seeing how the y5 harness has the vtec plugs....and I'm told the Y5 intake mani will work I'll just have to block off the egr seeing how that's the only difference between the Y5 and Y8 IM. And will it make a difference that the motor is a 99(OBD2B)? I have searched for a long time and have not found any info about anyone using Y5 IM and harness so if anybody has any experience with this please give me your info. Thanks guys.
