about three months ago i bought my 95 white civic coupe dx bone stock, teen female owned but taken care of. only prob was two bad fenders lol. so far ive lowered it on egay springs and tokico blues, set it on thome 15in hanabis put a type r lip and some ambers, the little cosmetics to make it ok but i bought a jdm obd1 h22 got a 99 prelude trans and some innovative mounts, i kno i need a lot more... so my question to you guys is should i keep saving up and finish the swap or go with my second option; 98 ex trans my stock b7 bottom and a y8 head then go for boost... small trim turbo low boost maybe 6lbs whaat do u guys think?

from what i hear the h22 weighs about 200 pounds more then what u got in their now which i'm sure u don't care, so assuming ur egay springs and shocks are good enough to handle the extra weight and you already have the h22 you mine as well put her in and the gearing in the 99 h22 trans from what i seen is quicker then the ex trans so all in all go with the h22

My homeboy Paul did an H2B setup and it's a FAWKIN beasttt..!!! He's on this forum too so if you need help just PM him... 88ED8 is his name..

Single cam VTEC turbo will be much more easier to do than an H swap. Also, you get more torque.


Im biased since I had a Y8+T set up, but Id choose a turbo set up over N/A any day!!

ps: I beat a 99 Prelude with my D16

I have a vitara built z6, so trust me I got mad <3 for the D, but this dude already bought the H22 he said... And it was either that or mini me according to the OP, so I figured fawk it might as well finish what you have.. But yes H2B is a huge P.i.T.a. lol..!!

i want to finish the h but a lot of people are telling me the axles are gonna be a BIG problem. i was told i need gsr axles to run the h trans but they wont last long regardless, and i damn sure dont have the money for driveshaftshop axles lol

havent checked them yet but im on it lol even if i do the h im still gonna play with the single, but on the h my boy had an eg with a h22 and when he did the skunk2 mani the manifold hit the firewall and dented some hardlines... does edlebrock or golden eagle run shorter runners?
