mini me swap vtec not engaging PLEASE HELP
Hi guys got my 92 eg hatchback with usdm d15b recently slapped on a z6 head and noticed vtec has not been engaging I wired up the solenoid in the proper pins (d6 and a4) grounded the other leg to the ther most at housing. I'm using a virgin p28 right now and am not getting any crossover what so ever at 5500rpms I applied power to the solenoid and am getting a click so I know the solenoid is good. I also tried my ecu in a full z6 coupe and vtec operated properly so I know the ecu is good. Could it be the pressure sensor on the solenoid? Any other input is appreciated

Yeah @hondapartshero I removed the jet from the block between cyl 2&3 when I did the head swap it revs up to just about 7200 and I get a intermittent code when running the car but it's a code 1 or code 43 basically for the o2 so nothing for the vtec

I can rev this high but I know the vtec is not engaging, because the ccode are not consistent I only throw the code if I run my car WOT for at least 1st through 4th and once I turn the car off their gone the codes stay in the ecu but I know if it was something bad they cel would stay on and I know that it is my o2 at fault that is why I worry about the vtec

Have you tried hooking up an led to the out put of the ecu to see if its sending a signal to the solenoid? Have you check the solenoid to see if its functioning?
