vtec help
does the oil pressure switch have too be plugged in the one on the block in order for the vtec too work because i am getting a code 21 not the vtec oil pressure switch. vtec works untill my check engine light comes on
Remove the VTEC solenoid and clean the oil screen out thoroughly (brake cleaner perhaps). If the rubber gasket surrounding the screen is dry/cracking, you will need to replace it completely (not too much $$$). Good luck!!
hrmm..
what ECU are you running?
your statement is unclear.....
you should have everything plugged in on the vtec solenoid (green plug & grey plug) in order for VTEC to work (along with the VSS & coolant temp sensor)..
