mini me question

mini me question
I am doing a mini me for a friend, its a cx block with a z6 head and I cant get the ******* crank pulley off, can I use the cx timing belt? or do I have to use a vtec belt? thanks for the help

Yea, the crank pulley bolt is an ***. There is 2 ways to take it off..
1. 17mm 6point , big breaker bar, and a "cheater bar" which is a long pipe. I just used the extension on my jack. Also, you need to hold the flywheel somehow. I used 2 flywheel bolts and wedged a huge flat head screwdriver.
2. The easier way, strong impact gun. weak crappy air compressors won't supply enough air for impact gun.
If you can't do either of these, carry the block in one of your friends cars, drive to a tire shop or muffler shop and ask them to loosen it for you with there impact guns.
About the cx timing belt on mini me. No, u need to use the z6 belt.

Correct, but you'll need to use a CX belt tensioner.
