mini me
i want to put on a z6 head on my d16y8. what besides the head and whats inside of it do i need to buy? im seeing websites that are saying vtec contoler, oil pump, harness, ecu..
and inside the head, without the; cam, springs, valves, etc, is there a difference between my head and a z6? could i get more power from building up my y8? i think i need direction.. preferably somewhere between cost and performance.

uh why, u already have a y8 which is a sohc vtec and has a better head than the z6. just keep the y8. do a search there has been quite a bit of info posted up on upgrading the d-series lately.
