Match exhaust to car or engine??
im going to be getting an H22 civic and i dont know if i should buy the exhaust that fits the civic, or the exhaust that fits the prelude? are the exhaust flanges the same?

Of course you'd get the exhaust that conforms to the chassis of the car. You have to make sure the piping goes around what it needs to go around under the car.
As for swaps, you will probably have to modify where it connects to the header/downpipe. This can include welding in a small piece of pipe, a testpipe, an aftermarket catalytic converter, etc. There are many options, but you need to mate your exhaust with the chassis.

The header obviously needs to be matched to the engine, then you need to figure out how to connect the header from the H22 to the rest of the exhaust.
