Default MAP sensor code 3 help (solved)

Hey I've got a code 3 that comes and goes, yesterday i cold started the car it had no check engine light but when I would touch the map sensor plug the slightest touch would make the car idle rougher and at times almost make the car die.
I noticed that once the check engine light was on it sounded like the intake started sucking more air in. With the light on i could also wiggle the plug around and it wouldn't effect the idle and i could even unplug the MAP completely and it would still not effect the idle.

So once the MAP code 3 is triggered does the ecu cause the intake to suck more air?

Also I've replaced the MAP sensor still having this issue

When the MAP sensor code is thrown, the ECU just starts acting like it isn't there, so of course it wouldn't matter if you unplugged it. If touching the plug causes the code to throw, and replacing the sensor didn't help, then you have a problem in your wiring, probably in the socket itself. Wires and connectors get old. They rust. Connection quality deteriorates. Stuff like this happens.

You can get a http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/201139109091?lpid=82&chn=ps for cheap. Just cut off the old one, solder and heat shring in the new one, and you're done. 15, maybe 20 minutes of work.

A new connector sounds like it will do the trick.

I ordered a new connector plug i went out and inspected the wires and the middle wire right were it goes into the plug is about in half. I bet that's my issue. Got a brand new pig tail on order tho. Hopefully this is all my issue is. I've done a lot of fixing on this car since I've owned and have learned a lot thru forms and othe social media.
Thanks guy I appreciate your help
