After confirming that the SRS equipped glove box does indeed fit on the 1993 DelSol si, I have run into one tiny problem: It won't latch.

The latching mechanism can't quite reach the hook while the rest of the install looks flawless.

So, HondaTech, I seek your guidance, Is there a different hook for the glove-box latch that was available on later models that would have been longer?

I'm hoping I can make lightning strike twice here.

You should have bumped your previous thread.

And if it doesn't latch, then it don't fit

Like I said there, I couldn't get it to fit with OEM, and I can't stand the 94+ latch myself, so I put a hinge on the 93 box to fix it until I could find a better one at the junkyard. Not to mention the 93 is a lil larger

TO answer your question, it seems the 94 is 2" and the 93 seems to be about 1"

If you can find the 94+ try and see if it fits. I just don't like it and would like to convert my dash to a 93 one, but thats just me. (I actually might have one in fact, PM me if you want me to look for it)
