i had a 94 ej1 that was running perfect, no check engine lights and i used to get 30+ mpgs before it got rear ended. i swapped everything to an eg6, after and after everything was transefered over to the eg6, i turned on the engine, idle was at 1500 rpm and the check engine light was on. ran the code, it came up as code 3 (MAP sensor). i replaced the MAP sensor and turned on the car and rpm's were still @ 1500, check engine light was on; checked the code and it still comes up as code 3 (MAP sensor). what else could be wrong with the car???i already changed the idle air control valve thinking that would affect the idle speed but it didnt...

Everything was swapped over from donor car? Wire harness, ecu?

Did you check the wiring up to the MAP sensor, for splits, cracks etc.

yeah, everything was swapped over... i checked the wiring harness and it looks fine, im probably going to take off the tape and get a deeper look into the wiring to the MAP sensor. but, one thing that i found out after posting this, was that i should check the intake temp sensor... do you guys think its that?? cuz i already spent like $70 on that new map sensor and its not that...
