Re: Manual or automatic? (E.Honda)
i did an ignition swap into my 4door...and the one with more plugs to it is from an auto...the one with less plugs is from a manual. it doesn't matter if you use an auto ignition in a manual vehicle, but for an auto, i think it does.....correct me if i'm wrong...i spent $80 on a used ignition cylinder with key from a used junk place...and i checked with my bro in-law at o'reillys and they carry them too, but for a cheaper price....even comes with a key...sigh.....good luck...and have fun with the ignition

They have the same number of plugs at the other end.....2 brown plugs.
It is that black piece that is specific.

I don't think it matters.
At the shop I was workin at we did a GSR swap on a DX coupe and when we were swapping the engines we did an auto to manual conversion.
We never touched the ignition system though.

Well at this point it's too late anyway then, isn't it?
So just wait, if you don't hear anything, - if he comes back bitching have him send it back, send him the other one and an apology.

No it is not too late...He needs the one for the one for the 5 speed and I am not sure which is for which.
