i just swapped a new engine in my car and with out any grounds on the motor the relays are buzzing this weird sound i dont think this is normal could a bad ecu be the culprit. cause i was relocating my fuse box and the power wire grounded down could that fry any sensors or the ecu??

Always disconnect the battery when working with the electrical system to protect it and YOU.

To answer your question people have smoked their ECU doing stuff like that.
