M11-1.25 bolt? where can i find them?
Anyone know where I can find one of these bastards. Honda decided to be awesome and use the most bass ackwards dimensions for their engines
And yes, i am POSITIVE that it's M11-1.25

At the risk of sounding stupid...
did you try

The OEM bolt will not work. It is custom and is too long. I have already tried to modify it and ruined my bolt.
The bolt has a thread section of M11-1.25, then it has a unthreaded section that is 0.389" which is too small for to thread with a 7/16-20 die. The bolt then is "reduced" to a M10-1.25 Thread.
A M10-1.25 die will not fit over the unthreaded section either. IT HAS to be a M11-1.25 bolt.
The bolt is here #27 It's for the timing belt tensioner on my F20B.

Thats really bloody weird. I suggest if you have a bolt shack type place try asking them. Or atleast for a die of that size. If you could fine that grab any M11 and go to work. You already tried cutting the top and tapping it to your 10 x 1.25?

I even have a thread pitch and bolt gauge, It's definitely M11-1.25
I have no clue why honda is doing this. What I am hoping is that MAYBE i can find a m12-1.25 die and beginning to thread it and modify the other end of this bastard.

According to one individual on a forum I came across:
maryland metrics has anything you can dream up.
I needed a 11x1.25 and 9x1 nuts, and they just said "what material and finish?"

+SCREW+ this, i'm just gonna go 7/16-20 It's basically the same thing.
I'm gonna have to make a stud though and use JB weld as loctite in there.
7/16 = 0.4375"
11mm = 0.43307"
The emperial 20 thread pitch is very similiar to the 1.25 pitch.

I am pretty sure that you can find it at lowe's or home depot. It's not going to be the nice bolt like an OEM honda one, but they carry a limited quantity of metric stuff. I just bought some bolts there the other weekend for my front end. Not sure what their largest sizing was, but I'm pretty sure I bought M10-1.25 and that wasnt the largest.

1.04" isn't long enough. It needs to be 2"
Mr. Bense,
We don't stock anything 11Mx1.25. However, we distribute for ARP and they show a Toyota flywheel bolt 11Mx1.25 with an under the head length of 1.04". ARP flywheel bolts are low profile 12-point and the wrench size is larger than a normal bolt. Please let me know if you need any further information. Thank you for contacting Hillco Fastener Warehouse.

The f20b is jdm and edm only right? Is there not a way that a local dealership can't order that bolt for you from over there and you get it that way?

Yes I looked there, it just seemed to be like a trafficjam of information. I just didn't feel like navigating.

It's not even a JDM bolt. It's the same F22/H23 bolt.

haha yeah, I just got the 2' threaded rod. I'm kinda worried about the strength of it but I think I will be all right. Right now I just have a bolt in there with red loctite. I think it's a grade 5 bolt. I'm debating on whether or not it will become an issue further down the road.
Knowing that the M11-1.25 bolt is actually
11mm = 0.43307 inches diameter, 20.320 pitch
7/16 " = 0.4375 inches diameter, 20.000 pitch
Think it will be an issue?
