Default ls/vtec and a lightweight, red, rim?

Hi just wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a good place to pick up a b18b1 block and b16a2 head? I have golden eagle conversion kit, after I saw it on Honda Tuning's 500+ whp Integra I'm looking to also pick up some red, light-weight rims and haven't had to much luck locating any yet

Thanks

www.hmotorsonline.com I know you can at least get the block($750 Correct me if I'm wrong). Look on craigslist for a head. Hmotors may be able to hook you up with a head but I dunno. As for wheels I'm running Drag's and they are pretty light and at a reasonable price. I know someone makes brand new casting of a blank b16 head for a pretty good price. I just don't remember who. Does anyone else know?

Red wheels are getting tired. If you really want some, check out Rota gt3 or Drag wheels. LsV is not the easiest motor, either. For a noob I would suggest a full Gsr swap instead of building an LsV.

Actually, the Ls/Vtec setup is only getting easier to do. There are countless write ups on this build, anything from basic to extreme. I put mine together with minor complications thanks to golden eagle and this site. Most of the write-ups are for very detailed very complicated builds and it gets confusing if you dont plan on removing the internals but 5 pages of instruction are just for that. Either way, Good luck and remember to have fun.

thanks, as for the guy saying don't build this cause your a noob, you are ignorant, I CAN BUILD ANYTHING I WANT!

Only thing that matters is how much money I have and am willing to dump into it but that won't matter because I'm doing it right the first time and researching as much as I can, reading ever article I can on ls/vtec and on b18b1 blocks and b16a2 heads and boost. I know ls/vtec's are prone to blown but that is why I have some "security cash" in case anything like that would happen and I need to replace or fix anything.

Not true. If built properly they are a very strong motor, just as strong as the rest. Enjoy your build man this website will help a lot as long as people don't shut you down because your new.

even if properly built, they are still prone to blow because you are spinning a bottom end nearly 2000RPM past its limit.

When you do your build, do not half-*** it or you will regret it. Build it right, and you will have a ball.
