Hello all, I thought I would post up my new progress with the hatch. I bought a LS/Vtec swap from a local owner. It was still in the car when I looked it over. It ran and revved smooth. After a brief warm up we did a compression test with 215-220psi accross the board. Everything looked clean and the GSR tranny felt good.

It had a few minor oil leaks but overall it was in great condition. I picked it up last saturday and have been getting everything prepped for the swap in 2 weeks.

It's going into an Eg Hatch. Here is a picture before I got my full suspension and brake swap.

The engine is a 98 LS with around 80k and a 00 B16 head. Everything is stock.

nice man gotta love ls-vtec<3 w00ppppppppp i plan on eventually getting one soon met a guy at my work last night sayin he would sell a full lsv swap for 1400 so i might try to talk him down first LOL but its pretty sick who knows 1400 still sounds good. how much u pay for yours?

looks good man clean swap into a clean shell. just wondering in the 3rd pic you tps sensor looks like its cracked you might want to replace that before you put the motor in. i hate replacing those things you have to drill out the tamper proof bolts then replace them with 7 or 8 mm bolts.

I got mine for $1700. It seemed like a great deal considering it too was a full swap with a GSR tranny. The engine also had great compression. However, the proof is in the pudding. We willl see in a year from now if the engine is still rocking. I beleive it will be fine.

Thanks. I did notice it. I will likely get a new one. The little things add up..LOL
