Icon2 LS swap in my 99 civic

ok so i've been searching and searching with little info gained. i swapped a 95 b18b1 obd1 into my 99 civic which is obd2. i am using the wire harness from the d16y8 that came out of the civic to switch the obd1 b18b1 to a obd2 b18b1. can anyone help me in the wiring aspect of this build for this is not my fortay. i already now i will have extra connectors seeing as the car is going from vtec to non-vtec but is there any connectors that need to be switched or extened? please help

get alternator dizzy obd2 and bam should be the same. Dont need to unwire vtec. Rather worry about what ecu to run. I would personally jumper the obd2 to obd1 and use your same harness. You will have to rewire your dizzy and alternator for obd1 but that is hella easy.

Um never seen an ecu go into flames but that obviously means that you did not wire something right. I would go get a multimeter and a 9-volt battery and and ecu pinout guide for obd1 and 2. I would then take you ecu out and make something ghetto to apply voltage to each wire. The wires that correspond to sensors should be checked first by the multimeter on the other end...Ill draw you a picture hold on...Ill have to host it

wiring conversions can be found by looking on google. just type in whatever you want to repin or redo...i.e. dizzy obd1 to obd2a.

You should like you are finding the problem...but I cant help you for you wire it wrong. GL
