Lower ball joint???

Lower ball joint???
The bolt on the lowet ball joint has some crossed threads. The castle nut will only go on part way and then just turns the ball joint 
. Do I have to replace the lower ball joint? How do I get it out of the knuckle? At least my other side went on smooth

you could try and chase those threads first with the proper die and see if they clean up. Sorry, I don't know size and pitch off the top of my head.
I'm not sure you're going to be able to get that balljoint out on your own if that doesn't work.
