whenever my ac is on sometimes the idle will drop really low and it sounds like the compressor keeps clickin like its tryin to idle higher but i cant is there something wrong with the ac compressor and ive just replaced my IACV so it isnt gona be that probably so please help!!! thanks

Set it with no accessories (radio, A/C) or anything like that. And set the idle where it should be.

The A/C SHOULD cause the idle to rise just a bit. At least it does on my car. Are you getting any check engine lights?

well when i turn the ac on mostly itll drop not raise if i turn it off its ok

your a/c compressor is bad how much/ how cold is the air comming out

My 97 EJ does the same thing sometimes even with the air off it will drop to like 300 RPM and i can hardly hear the car. Usually after I cut the car off and back on it goes away. My buddies 99 does the same thing.
