I didnt have that problem when i had my Sol, but it has been awhile. There is a way that you can tighten the top so it fits tighter. Maybe that would help. Not really sure what is doing the rattling though

its also cheap to buy 10 washers and put them in between the body of the car and the latches that the rods go into when you lock the top down, that gives the top a tighter fit and helps water leaks too check out teamdelsol.com click on information at the top, then the how to section, and then the section where it says "how to tighten the targa top" this should stop your problem if you feel like doing it

maybe you misread what i wrote.. the washer goes in between the body and the catcher things with the bolt going through the washer. Its basically just to space it towards the roof a tiny bit so the roof is not so sloppy and loose.. good luck it worked on mine
