Default Looped power steering question

to anyone who looped theirs im looking for some info... i was wondering if i can get the fittings anywhere else other than online. like lowes/home depot or even an autoparts store? if anyone has used fittings other than from online stores lmk. just tryin to avoid online shopping...

ive searched only to find diy's with people using semi-expensive parts for 2 fittings and a bolt. thanks...

i used a fly wheel bolt. OEM honda. you can easily use a bolt from home depot/lowes. you'd just have to figure out the pitch and size. i think its a 14x1.5 but im not 100%.

yea heard the flywheel bolt would work its 14mmX1.00 but the other 2 is where my problem lies. i believe they are 16mmX1.5 and one 14mmX1.5 but i need to be able to attach a hose to those two, so they cant be just a common bolt... know what i mean?

My rack n pin was pumped up like normal operating conditions then the lines crimped and pinched , cut the lines right above the pinch or blockage and cut lines off or out! Never leaked , and I had somewhat of a power steer with no lines , pump ect....

Damn...my buddy literally just got done with his about 30 min ago. Got his fittings from AutoZone! He should be coming back here shortly, I'll ask him what size when he gets here.

if you search on google for a little bit theres a DIY write up of a guy that just cuts the original lines before the bends and clips a high pressure hose to them. no need for new fittings and no leaks.
i wouldn't be too worried about the condition of the lines unless youre going to just store them somewhere. they don't really sit well anywhere. just run longer soft braided lines.

i just bought a kit for 60 bucks. i was lazy.
