mostly everyone here will tell you that they don't recommend buying someone else boosted project. if it was me i wouldn't get it because its an lsvtec and you don't know if they built it right.

Buying someone else's project is buying someone else's problems.

The only reason, I personally, would ever buy a car like that, would be to part most of it out, and start over with a new engine (and rear bumper).

As others have said, I would not recommend getting someone's project. There are just too many potential problems you're looking at. And dropping $5.5k only to (maybe) have to spend a lot more just to fix any **** ups is risky. You're better off to buy a stock vehicle and spend the cash to boost it yourself or have a reputable shop do it. Either way you're looking at close to the same price and if you build it from scratch you KNOW when problems arise.

yes that is very true. and you have it correct about the rear bumper thing looks like **** with that back bumper. that rear bumper ftl=for the loss.

I'm not gonna say it will be right around the same price. Depending on where you live, whether or not you'll be doing the work or sending it off will vary the price. But as far as engines go, take a look at the performance section. There are countless threads on the different engines/boost.

I wouldn't rule out buying it. I have two turboed cars now, one i built and the other I bought. I spent the same amount of money on both cars. The the one i bought ('95 LS/V turbo) has double the hp. It is fun though to build it yourself and it is a risk to buy someone elses.

You could break into low 12s for sure on slicks. I would change out that wastegate (ebay one), not really sure how good those are.

Since when did golden eagle started making rods lol? And by judging from the size of those injectors I think they have ran alot more boost the 12psi on it.

12 pounds and only 300 hp that seems a little low hp for so much boost, we did a stock b16 99-00 with injectors and hondata, ebay turbo kit. only @ 4 pounds and made 246 hp to the wheels.
