if its leaking by your vtec solenoid it might be ur vtec spool assembly gasket. the most common areas of the upper engine to leak oil are the head gasket, camshaft seal, and the vtec spool valve. common lower engine are the rear main seal and oil pan gasket.

What he said, Alot of times people see an oil leak and see oil sitting on the aluminum surface between the Head and Block and jump the gun freaking out thinking its a HeadGasket. Most of the time its one, several, or all of the following leaking and running down the engine:

-Distributor O-Ring
-Head Plug(Commonly called a cam seal, these are very common to leak on B-Series engines.
-Valve Cover Gasket
-VTEC Spool Gasket(For engines equipped with VTEC of Course)
-Actual Cam Seals behind the cam gears.
-4 other seals that will leak are the Spark Plug tube seals, they will not cause oil to form outside the engine but rather fill your spark plug tubes with oil. Generally pulling the plug wires out will tell you if some are leaking as they will have oil soaked on them.

To try and pin point the location it usually easiest to spray the engine block, head surface off with carb cleaner/brake cleaner and then go for a bit of a drive, then stop and see if you can see fresh oil leaking.
